• Acceptance of your abstract dictates that the presenter will register, upload content as detailed below (if applicable), and present onsite in Las Vegas.  
  
• No changes in the title or addition/deletion of authors are permitted without prior written or e-mail permission from the Abstract Review Committee Chairs.
• Reports of the antiviral effect of a novel small-molecule drug are encouraged to include chemical structures, as long as such reporting does not negatively impact the potential development of novel antivirals.
• If you need to change the presenting author for this abstract or withdraw, please notify ICAR Staff as soon as possible at info@isaricar.com.   
  
  

POSTER PRESENTERS

All poster award competition participants will be required to upload a poster prior to the conference.   All accepted posters have the option to upload a poster.   Although optional, it is highly encouraged that all poster presenters upload a poster which will be available to registered attendees via the mobile app and online platform.  Additional details will be sent in late January.  The deadline to upload posters is March 3, 2025.

Onsite Posters

• Posters should be formatted to fit the poster board sized at 2.4m high by 1.2 m wide.
• The Conference provides a small sign designating the ID of the paper to be posted on each board and a small number of push pins/velcro for displaying the poster on the board.
• Posters should be setup on their designated board by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 18.
• Posters must be removed no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 20.  Posters remaining after the designated poster removal time will be discarded
• All onsite poster presenters have the option to upload their poster by March 3.  Although optional, it is highly encouraged that all poster presenters upload a poster.  Please see electronic poster guidelines below.  Participants in the Poster Award Competition are required to upload a poster.
• Poster presentation times are below.  You are expected to present at BOTH poster sessions.

Electronic Poster Guidelines

The deadline to upload posters is March 3.   This is required for Poster Award participants and highly encouraged for all other poster presenters.  Posters will be uploaded to the abstract management system with the same account you used to submit your abstract.  Additional details to include the abstract number will be sent in late January.

*For Onsite Poster Presenters:  Please ensure when you print your onsite poster it meets the poster board dimensions as noted above. 

When creating your poster, keep in mind that poster files displayed digitally will be smaller than a regular printed poster.   Please be mindful of the text size, font, images and layout when creating your poster.   Click here to view an example of a poster with excellent use of graphics, color and general layout.

 ORAL PRESENTERS

• Presenters will be asked to upload their PowerPoint presentations at least 24-hours prior to the day of their scheduled presentation.  Details on how to upload presentations will be sent to all oral presenters.  Audiovisual technicians will be in the main session room to pull up presentations and assist presenters as needed.  
• All presentations will run from a PC laptop using Windows.  If you created your presentation on a Mac, please ensure it will run appropriately on a PC.
• Please use 16:9 as presentation slide format size.  We encourage you to use the ICAR2025 presentation template.
• Embed any video content; do not use video links as these can sometimes cause problems in presentation mode.
• Slides will be run from one central computer but presenters will be able to control their presentation, as a wireless remote will be provided.  There will be a podium microphone available for your presentation. Remember to speak clearly in order to be easily understood! 
• Remember the time slot allowed for your oral abstract presentation includes time at the end for questions and answers.  A speaker timer will be on the stage to help you gauge the time allotted.   
• • Short oral presentation = 10 minutes (8 minutes for talk + 2 minutes for Q&A)
  • Invited oral presentation = 30 minutes (25 minutes for talk + 5 minutes for Q&A)
• The session chairs will direct questions to you from the in-person audience.
